MAS Queens Weekend School

Nurturing Faith, Knowledge, and Character

The MAS Queens Weekend School provides a nurturing and engaging environment where children learn Arabic, Qur’an, Islamic studies, and essential life skills rooted in faith. Our goal is to equip students with a strong foundation in Islam while fostering personal growth, character development, and confidence.

Students receive regular report cards to celebrate progress and guide improvement.

Days: Saturdays & Sundays
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Ages: 4–14 years old
Location: MAS Queens Center - 46-01 20th Ave, Astoria, NY 11105

Curriculum

  • Qur’an & Tajweed: Including Qaida Noorania for foundational recitation skills.

  • Arabic Language & Conversation: Reading, writing, and speaking Arabic with confidence.

  • Islamic Studies: Manners, beliefs, and Seerah of the Prophet ﷺ.

  • Character Building & Hands-On Projects: Activities that teach empathy, respect, and personal responsibility.

  • Sports, Recreation & Monthly Group Trips: Encouraging physical development, teamwork, and social skills.

Teaching Approach

Our teachers create interactive, hands-on lessons that make learning engaging and meaningful. Children are encouraged to develop a love for Allah, the Qur’an, and practicing Islam in their daily lives.
