YOUTH PROGRAMS

Youth Department

The MAS Queens Center Youth Department serves our community’s young Muslims, ages 11 to 35, through a variety of programs that nurture tarbiyah, faith, leadership, and meaningful connections. We are dedicated to creating spaces where youth and young adults can grow spiritually, build strong friendships, and engage positively with their community.

Our department offers tailored programs for every age group, including:

  • Teen Halaqas: Safe, engaging spaces for teenage sisters to learn, reflect, and connect through guided discussions and activities.

  • Young Adult Sisters’ Halaqa: A warm and empowering circle focused on spiritual growth, sisterhood, and navigating adulthood with faith.

  • Young Professionals’ Halaqa: Designed for working adults seeking to strengthen their relationship with Allah while balancing career and personal life.

Beyond our weekly and monthly halaqas, we host community-building events that bring everyone together—such as potlucks, boba nights, tea parties, bake sales, game nights, hikes, ramen nights, and movie nights.

We also host Revives, our major events featuring inspiring speakers and thought-provoking topics that uplift hearts and minds while addressing the challenges faced by today’s Muslim youth. These events offer guidance, motivation, and spiritual rejuvenation for both youth and young adults.

The MAS Queens Youth Department strives to cultivate confident, compassionate, and committed Muslims who are ready to lead with purpose, serve their communities, and grow in tarbiyah.
